Freelance Writing and Editing Services
Under the links to the left, you'll find more details about what I do, as well as samples of past writing, links to completed projects and a few client testimonials.
I was fortunate enough to start my freelance career with several years of experience as a reporter for legal-industry publications, which naturally progressed into a specialty in writing and editing about the law. (For more about my background, you can visit my bio page or my resume.) However, my client roster goes beyond the law; I've worked for accountants, real estate companies, print and online publishers and a variety of print publications. I write for Web sites, general-interest blogs, legal blogs and other "new media," as well as newsletters, marketing materials, books and more. When I wear my "editor hat," I offer both content editing and copy editing/proofreading (which focuses on grammar, spelling and other language mechanics). Thanks to my rewriting and localization work in manga, I have substantial experience working with translated texts that need just a bit of work to sound like natural American English.
Unfortunately, it's impossible to set my rates here, because they vary widely between projects and clients. Once I know more about your project and your needs, I'd be delighted to give you a quote. You can contact me online or send a message to .
