I’ve done a ton of content writing on legal topics. I’ve created website copy and blog posts for many small, consumer-focused law firms (personal injury, criminal defense, bankruptcy, family, probate, employment and immigration) that need fresh content from someone who understands their businesses. I’ve also produced legal content for Web designers and legal businesses that are not law firms. Some of this work includes:

I’m proud to say that one client, Albany’s Martin, Harding & Mazzotti, took an article I wrote for them about mesothelioma (a cancer generally caused by asbestos) and made it into a short video:

I had the privilege of producing short ebooks for two law firms, both on personal injury topics. One of the law firms involved, North Carolina’s Daggett Shuler, graciously agreed to let me to post a downloadable e-book copy of their edition here. This 90-page PDF of North Carolina Injury Law: A Reference for Accident Victims has all of the same information as the printed version.

I also do nonlegal content writing! Here’s a page full of links to blog posts I did for the U.S. Department of Energy as part of its push to show off the results of the Recovery Act. I’ve also done press releases for and the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles; newsletters for a precursor organization to the accounting firm now called CohnReznick; and more. If you need a writer who can make complex topics understandable to a general audience, I can help.
