First, let me just remind everyone that SCOCAL is going to broadcast oral arguments in In re Marriage Cases tomorrow from 9 a.m. to noon on the California Channel. Press releases from the court say the channel will also webcast it, if you’re interested but don’t have Californian cable. As far as I know, the court will take just as much time as usual to write an opinion, but it’s still nice to get a glimpse behind the wood-paneled curtain in such a high-profile case.

Second, if you’re interested in moral turpitude — and really, who isn’t? — you might like to know that the Ninth doesn’t think giving false ID to a police officer is a crime involving moral turpitude. Blanco v. Mukasey.
